Islandmore Wind Farm is applying for planning permission for a development consisting of 10 wind turbines and associated infrastructure. The proposed wind farm is located approximately in the area of Islandmore, north of Ballaghaderreen in Co. Roscommon

Following consultations pursuant to Section 37B of the Planning & Development Act 2000 (as amended), An Bord Pleanála determined that the proposed development is Strategic Infrastructure Development within the meaning of Section 37A of the Act which necessitates a planning application being made directly to An Bord Pleanála.

It is a requirement of the Board that the applicant creates a specific website to include all of the application documentation.
