Project Updates
Water network improvement works on behalf of Geevagh / Highwood Group Water Scheme Ltd. will commence on Monday, 31 August and are expected to take up to two weeks to complete.
During this period, temporary water supply interruptions may be required. Affected customers will be notified in advance, with interruptions expected to last approximately two hours.

There will be some road closures in the area in the coming weeks, we apologise for any incovienice and thank you for your understanding.

- Closure Start Date: 28th August
- Expected Duration: 3 to 4 weeks
- Reason: Essential construction/road works
- Diversions: Signposted where applicable
Resurfacing works on the L1202 from Sooey to the L5204 junction are scheduled to be completed during the week of August 24th, ensuring the road is ready for the reopening of the local school.

Works will be carried out in accordance with the approved Traffic Management Plan agreed with Sligo County Council. Construction traffic associated with this pour will use the L5204 and L1202 roads.

The Resurfacing of the L1202 from Sooey to the cross at L5204 will commence the week of the 27th July and will continue for approximately 3 weeks.

The proposed Quarry Lane concrete pour due to commence the week of July 13th has been postponed until July 30th/31st.

Concrete Pour — Week commencing 13th July
Works will be carried out in accordance with the approved Traffic Management Plan agreed with Sligo County Council. Construction traffic will use the L5204 and L1202 roads.
Please be advised that there will be additional HGV traffic in the area for the duration of these works. We appreciate your patience and continued cooperation during this period
Road Repair/Upgrades.
· Red line: Resurface now completed by the council
· Blue line: Council addressed problem areas
· Yellow line: The upgrading of this road will be completed Q2 2026
· There will be a concrete pour week commencing 22nd June, resulting in a larger volume of HGV traffic.
· Delivery of a crawler Crane to site on the 12th of June
