Project details

The Quarry Lane development consists of a grid stability project currently under construction and a proposed battery energy storage project (BESS) that would be located on the same site.

Quarry lane is home to a grid stabilty project that began construction in 2025. This project will help to increase grid stability by delivering a net zero alternative to conventional fossil fuel burning plants and will help to facilitate the stable integration of renewable energy onto the Irish electricity grid system.

Alongside this project we are proposing the development of an additional a BESS site that will further benefit and play a crucial role in advancing Ireland's energy transition, while also providing significant benefits to the local community and its residents.
