Project Being Considered

The Knockanarragh Wind Farm, located adjacent to the N52 near Clonmellon, County Westmeath, is transitioning towards green energy with a new proposal to add solar and battery storage, forming one of Ireland’s first Green Energy Hubs.

Design works, surveys and consultation with the local community are ongoing with the view to identifying how this proposal would work best in this area and bring the most benefit to the local community
